Cloister Watch Company was an accident.

My collection soon outpaced my wrists, and too many treasured pieces went unworn.

In 2009, an acquaintance asked me to restore a 1963 Rolex Datejust… then changed his mind.

I kept it, mixed a color I called Just Orange for the dial and it soon became my daily driver.

It was not for sale, but a week later, a fellow collector convinced me to part with it.

And so it began.
