CWR1009-011, CWR1009-012 & CWR1009-039 were crafted from eighteen-karat yellow gold Rolex Ref. 1009 “Zephyr” watches.

Each Zephyr Studies piece begins with a Rolex Ref. 1009 Zephyr provided by an owner seeking to reimagine their timepiece. Mechanical overhauls and cosmetic restorations of the watches are completed before various case, bracelet, and dial treatments are applied. Two of the examples here feature painted, “Sunray” finishes, while another features a “Diamond-Like Carbon” finish applied onto the gold case. Watches are fitted with either restored, original rivet bracelets or bespoke Parisian straps and OEM tang buckles.
